Chavivim Frees a Bus Stuck at Schunnemunk Road and Route 208

On a Friday afternoon, January 23rd, an Excellent Bus Lines coach got stuck at the corner of Schunnemunk Road and Route 208/North Main Street — one of the busiest intersections in Monroe. Traffic was backing up fast. Chavivim responded, spread out across the intersection to keep cars moving, and got to work on the bus.
Rigging the Pull
With the bus sitting dead in the middle of the intersection, members hooked a tow rope from a member's personal truck to the bus while others held traffic. One member got under the front of the bus to secure the line.
Bus Out, Intersection Clear
The member's truck pulled the bus free, and members guided it safely to the side. The intersection reopened and traffic kept flowing.
