Chavivim Launches Full-Scale Campaign Taking the Organization to the Next Level
Every day, in every weather, in every neighborhood, Chavivim volunteers show up. Not because they're paid. Not because someone told them to. But because another Yid needed help — and they answered. Across 14 divisions spanning New York, New Jersey, Florida, and beyond, this is what Chavivim does.
What the Campaign Funds
Chavivim has launched a full-scale organizational campaign aimed at taking every division to the next level of readiness and capability. Unlike broad initiatives, this campaign is rooted in the concrete: dispatch centers, spare tires, specialized equipment, tools, fuel, radios, and gear — the operational infrastructure that makes every call possible.
The message from the organization is direct: donations don't go to overhead or vague future plans. They go to the volunteers who are already on the road — restocking the tire inventory they just used, refueling the vehicle that just got someone home, replacing the radio that died mid-call.
The Calls That Don't Make Headlines
Most of what Chavivim handles never appears in the news. It's a minivan with a dead battery on the Palisades at 11 PM. It's a woman locked out of her car in a parking lot on erev Shabbos. It's a flatbed stuck on a county road while a family waits at a simcha. These calls happen dozens of times each day, across every division, and Chavivim is there for every one.
Volunteers don't think twice when the call comes in. The campaign asks the community to do the same — to support the infrastructure that makes an immediate response possible, not just on the big calls, but on all of them.
A Network Built on Trust
Chavivim's strength is its reach. Fourteen divisions mean that wherever you are — in Orange County, Rockland, Brooklyn, Williamsburg, Monsey, Staten Island, or Tampa — there is a trained volunteer close by, equipped to help. That breadth requires investment at every level, and this campaign is how the network sustains and grows it.
