Orange County Chavivim Unveils KJ-500 and KJ-503 at Official Ribbon Cutting
Featured vehicles: KJ-500 — SAR Command Center & KJ-503 — Pickup Truck
On February 24, 2025, Orange County Chavivim held an official ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome two new vehicles into the fleet: KJ-500, a fully-equipped command center truck, and KJ-503, a new pickup. Members, askanim, and supporters gathered for the occasion, with vehicles from other Chavivim divisions — along with KJ-501 and KJ-502 — representing the full scope of the network.
KJ-500 — Command Center
The KJ-500 is Orange County Chavivim's dedicated command center — a fully-equipped box truck built for large-scale operations, extended deployments, and on-scene coordination. It expands what the division can do at any incident requiring sustained presence or multi-agency coordination.
The Full Fleet, Together
The event brought out the entire Orange County fleet alongside vehicles from sister divisions — a rare look at the full network standing side by side.
